Bring your picnic rug and join us for an exclusive afternoon of live music, children’s entertainment and fantastic company. Pack your own picnic or purchase food from one of the onsite Food Trucks. Watch your children’s smiles grow are they are entertained my our children's entertainer, baby play arena, jumping castles and much more. This event is open to all multiple birth families and their supporters.... so bring along the grandparents, neighbors, school friends and team-mates for an afternoon of FREE entertainment to celebrate all that is magical about being multiple birth families. Making Rainbows is a music and sensory based class for infants and children. Through music, movement, dance and a variety of sensory based activities, your child will develop skills in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The 9:30am session is for toddlers, turbos and any child who is hop, skipping and jumping into Christmas  The 11:00am session is for babies crawling, rolling, sitting or laying their way into the festivities   A catered light morning tea will be available for parents between sessions (from 10:15-10:45).  Older siblings are also welcome to attend the class; each child attending must have a ticket.  Grandparents/helpers are welcome to attend/assist.  Sensory classes generally range between $15-$20 per child.  GCMBA financial members are $5 per child per class and non financial members are $7.50 per child per class.  Maximum of 20 children per class.  Bookings are essential. Are you looking for something to do with the kids during the Christmas School Holidays? GCMBA has partnered with My First Gym Robina to offer 50 discounted tickets to GCMBA Financial Members to attend any of the standard scheduled classes for 0 - 15 year olds, for the week running Monday 13/12/2021 - Friday 17/12/2021   Multiples and their siblings are welcome.     My First Gym classes provide children with benefits in: - Socialisation  - Stability  - Locomotor skills  - Self-confidence  - Introduction to Fitness  - Body Awareness  - Strength & loads of fun!   Baby Explorers, Walking Wallabies, Jumping Joeys & Energetic Emus classes require parental participation. One parent participating per family is sufficient.   Free play is also available on Tuesday 14/12 and Wednesday 15/12 prior to, and concluding all sessions between 8:30am - 12:30pm. A scheduled session must be attended to utilise Free Play.    NOTE FOR THE ADULTS! Coffee is available next door at Alpine gym. Lots of room to park prams, the facility is gated and closed in, with air conditioning, fridge, and microwave for bottles if needed.  BYO snacks NUT FREE    Bookings are Essential. 50 tickets are available for purchase on a first in first serve basis. Limit of one ticket per child for the week 13/12/2021 - 17/12/2021. Class must be selected at the time of booking. Siblings/multiples may attend different classes. Mountains of outgrown clothes, toys, books, and baby equipment? Book a space at the Bambini Christmas Kids & Baby Market and sell it all! Saturday, 11th December - 9.00am-12.00pm Bambini Early Childhood Centre   Bambini Early Childhood Centre is holding a Christmas Baby & Kids Market where you can sell all your unwanted pre-loved and new baby and kid's gear in one go.  Bambini Early Childhood is proud to support the Gold Coast Multiple Birth Association, with proceeds from stall hire to go to GCMBA. A stall space is approx 1.8m x 2m.  Each stall holder will be able to submit 4 large ticket items which will be sold in a dedicated 'large item' space, leaving you with more space for other items!  Stall holders will have access to the Centre from 8.00am on the day. The event will be open to the entire Gold Coast community to come and purchase the goods. Gold Coast Multiple Birth Assoc. members are welcome to purchase a stall space.   Don't have enough goods for a full spot?  Team up with a friend and share a stall! Parent assistance/ participation required. 9.45 - 10.15am: 3.5 - 5 year olds Ninja Warrior style. No parent participation required.  10.15- 10.45am: 7mths - 23mths Sensory and obstacle class. Parent assistance/ participation required. 9.15 - 12.00pm After class free play (parent led and parent supervised)  NOTE FOR THE MAMAS! Coffee is available next door at Alpine gym. It’s one of our biggest fundraisers for the year...  You don’t need to be a King (or Queen) on the tongs to help out... volunteers are needed on each shift to handle the money, serve customers, cook, manage stock, do the prep work and HAVE FUN!!  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for our GCMBA Bunnings BBQ at Burleigh Waters Store on Sunday, 05/12/2021. Michelle from Parents2B (P2B) will be hosting an ONLINE Sleep and Settling Q&A session WEDNESDAY 1st December at 7pm, exclusively for the GCMBA community. No matter whether you are an expectant parent wanting to be prepared, or a parent of multiples looking for some advice.... Come along, ask your burning questions and hear Michelle share her wisdom and knowledge on baby and toddler sleep and settling, introducing solids & the impacts of food. Michelle is a registered midwife, nurse, childbirth educator and infant sleep specialist.
